The RWF is owned by Vincent DJ Rooney a multi billionaire from High Spen, England. He also hosts his own chat show and
is an important figure in British Media.
The Rooney Wrestling Federation lasted from 2001 to 2003. It ran two daily shows a week and a pay per view every single
month. The RWF was known for its hard hitting wrestling and its soap opera style storylines. RWF was home to such legends
as Sgt Army, Macho Man Mike and Pistol Pete. It featured enthralling storylines such as 'who shot Vince Rooney' and the famous
'Why did Des McEvoy blew up Horrific Hatch's legs'
Rooney Wrestling Federation stopped writing weekly shows in 2003 after 2 years but recently produced a show in January
2004. It still occasionally hosts shows. The reason it stopped producing shows was a banning by the British Government who
didnt like the violence or predictable storylines.
